So, what’s the story with Sweet’N Low? You see it in almost every restaurant. You ask for it by color, “Yes, Pink Please”. But do you know how it came about or that there are more recipes that you can use it in other than tea?
~ Did you know that Sweet’N Low came about in 1957 by Marvin Eisenstadt?
~ The color pink was chosen to stand out in the sugar bowl.
~ The name was borrowed from Ben’s(Marvin’s Dad) favorite song (which in turn had been the title of a Tennyson poem.)
~ Sweet’N Low received Federal Trademark Registration No. 1,000,000.
I received a Sweet’N Low Prize Pack (see below to win one for yourself) that included a cute cotton tote, an apron, a slim credit card sized flashlight looks just like a Sweet’N Low packet and some samples.
Did you also know that Sweet’N Low isn’t just for tea? There are so many Sweet’N Low recipes, including new Summertime Recipes.
