Little House on the Prairie

Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. Just as in the Little House books, Laura is our window into this adventure. An American icon in waiting. She is observant, tender, strong-willed, and hot-tempered. She resists the bounds of 19th-century ladylike behavior – she likes to run barefoot and feel the sun on her face. She is curious and optimistic and fearless, like her father; resourceful and hardworking and honest, like her mother.
Mary Ingalls is Laura’s older sister and the polar opposite. She’s a rule follower, quiet and studious, loves reading poetry, and long afternoons of sewing. In other words, Laura and Mary are oil and water. But in the end, they always have each other’s backs – there is no choice but to protect each other in this wild new landscape.
The series has already been renewed for Season 2, in which audiences will meet the infamous Nellie Oleson and watch her rivalry with Laura Ingalls unfold.
The beloved Ingalls family will be portrayed by Luke Bracey (Charles Ingalls), Crosby Fitzgerald (Caroline Ingalls), Alice Halsey (Laura Ingalls), and Skywalker Hughes (Mary Ingalls) in what promises to be a stunning adaptation of Wilder’s classic frontier tale.

The highly anticipated Little House on the Prairie Netflix series is set to premiere on July 9, 2026! Watch the Trailer
