He is the eleventh person overall to be nominated for both producing and acting in the same film, joining a list that includes Warren Beatty, Kevin Costner, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Frances McDormand, and Emma Stone.
- Most Nominated Individual: Steven Spielberg (“Hamnet”) sets a new record by becoming the most-nominated individual in Best Picture, with 14 nominations.
- New Record: This year, a new record was set with ten women nominated for Best Picture.
