Update: 6/21/12 – I wanted to tell you about my son, who really loves this pillow. I took it for 2 nights and he started bellyaching that his head was getting sweaty and he “had to have it back to get a good night’s rest”. I kid you not!

Technogel Pillow Review: I am a side sleeper so I chose the Anatomic Technogel Pillow, due to the fact it is recommended for those who sleep primarily on their sides or on their back. It is also for those suffering from neck, back or shoulder pain. Once I received it I couldn’t believe how heavy it was for a pillow, 5 pounds! The atomic pillow is a very thick pillow that has a curve in it where your neck fits. You can see in the pictures how it is raised on the edges. The pillow itself already comes with 2 pillowcases, one which is sealed and the other which is removable so it can easily be washed. To be honest, I am not used to using such a thick pillow. It took me a while to adjust to it. My son took it from me for a few days and loves it! I do prefer a softer pillow, I sometimes sleep with my arm under the pillow, something I can not do easily with this one. After I was able to pry it away from him, I went back to using it for a few days, still, I just couldn’t get used to it and how I sleep. I do love how it cradles my head and how it stays cool though. I will continue to use it to see if I can adjust to it.

Technogel offers 4 different styles of pillows and 2 travel-sized pillows. The Anatomic Standard sized pillow retails for $189.

This pillow would be for my husband. He has very severe DDD in his neck and he has to use a CPAP machine. I pray I win this because I cannot afford to buy him one of these amazing pillows. I learned that the Atomic would be perfect for him because of his neck problems. God bless

I am finally getting a better night sleep since my son turned 4. Prior to that, I was lucky to get 5 hours of sleep a night! That’s not enough!

The only way I can get a good nights sleep is if I am not hot. I am a pillow flipper, always searching for a cool corner. I am already dreading summer.

Tests have demonstrated that it is able to withstand more than 300.000 pressure cycles without deformation that may affect its performances.

Don’t drink tea, cola or coffee after lunch. Spend 15 minutes in bed reading a book before sleeping.

The best way to have a good night’s sleep is to get old and wait for the kids to move out.

I usually relax by getting on my computer for a while, then I fluff my pillows and get in bed and go to sleep. I learned that when (or if) you exercise, exercise at least 3 hours before you go to bed.

Recently i’ve been watching exciting tv shows on my computer before i go to bed and I find myself wide awake, so I recommend not doing that, haha. It’s also because my room upstairs takes forever to cool down in the summer and I can’t get comfortable. :/

I was taught that routines, in and of themselves, are very comforting… so, from an early age, my father got me into the routine of a warm bath, comfy jammies, the window cracked, some warm milk, and soothing music… I never had a problem sleeping as a child… and I still don’t! 🙂
