It’s a new year, you probably thought about making it a new you, right? Easier said than done! We have all had these grand goals or resolutions to start out, losing weight, exercising more often (or at all!) to eating more healthy.
For me, it was to cut back on pop, I usually have 1 can a day. My goal, to start was to cut back to one can every other day and eventually cut it out completely. You are probably asking, why not just switch to diet. Well, I did try that and I just cannot choke it down!
I also do not drink a lot of water, and certainly not anywhere close to the recommended 8 glasses a day. I just received the POWER machine and several of the new SodaStream Waters two days ago, so I have not been able to really try out a lot of flavors or come up with some creations of my own. But I can not wait to get some fresh fruit to add to some of the flavors. Like cold orange slices added to the Orange Mango Water or adding frozen raspberries and lemons to the Berry Mix Water.
We received one of SodaStream’s other machines called the SOURCE a few years ago, read my full SodaStream Source review. The POWER works in almost the same in every way as the SOURCE except for two functions. First, the buttons are different. With the POWER, you just need to press the button for how much carbonation you would like and it automatically starts. With the SOURCE, you had to hold the button down. Second, the POWER has to be plugged into an outlet for it to work. This for me is a downside as far as counter space and where to place it if you were going to keep it out. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.
The SodaStream Gourmet Waters go beyond lemon! How does Blackcurrant Lime or Green Apple Cucumber sound? With fun flavors like these, adding more water into your daily routine is easy.
As I said, I do like my daily pop, but for the past two days, I have substituted carbonated water in its place. Cutting back on pop may be easier than I thought!
The first flavor we tried was the Blackcurrant Lime. At first, I was hesitant to try it as the combo didn’t really appeal to me. But once I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! I have made several more bottles!
Tell me about what types of sparkling water flavors you like to drink?
