Slow-Cooker English Cider
Recipe type: Drinks
  • ½ c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1-1/2 qts. cider
  • 1 t. whole allspice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 t. whole cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced and seeded
  1. Combine ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Spices can be placed in a tea strainer if preferred, or added loose.
  3. Cover and heat on low setting for 2 to 8 hours.
  4. Strain before serving if necessary.
  5. Makes 1-1/2 quarts.

    I really like different slow cooker recipes. This is perfect for the season and sounds delicious. Warming, too. I bet it really smells great as well.

    I’ve been wanting hot cider! I just bought the cider yesterday, and now I have the perfect recipe to have the cider for a gang!!! This sounds delicious!
