Nutrisystem Blogger! Week 12 #NSNation

Believe it or not, after 12 weeks in I am still trying new foods on Nutrisystem. The first is Wedged Potatoes with Sliced Beef Steak. This had hunks of mushrooms, red peppers and green bell peppers of which I only ate the potatoes from this meal. The second meal was the BBQ over Beef, Beans, and Rice. This meal was better but it a bit spicy for me. I just received my third order a few days ago and I ordered new foods this time around as well. So far my favorite breakfast foods include the cereals(Cluster Crunch, NutriCinnamon Square, and Berry Multigrain) and the Ham & Cheese Omelet. For lunch, I had Black Beans and Rice, and for dinner, Cheese & Spinach Ravioli, Ravioli Formaggio and the Turkey Pepperoni Pizza.

I pulled an old shirt from the bottom of my drawer out to wear for the first in a while. I didn’t like the way I looked in it so I just hid it away. Well, I put it on and was pleased that it fit me so much better. I walked past a mirror and did a double-take! I can see a difference. I was so happy for the rest of the day. Now if only the pounds would start disappearing from my butt, I would be ecstatic! I know that is going to take exercise.     That is so great that you have lost so much. I am starting Nutrisystem tomorrow and could really use some suggestions on how to control hunger. I have tried it before but made it 1-2 days before going on a binge.

    Erin – It’s great that you are starting the program. The first week was the toughest thing, just read my first post. I was crying at every meal thinking I was never going to be able to do it. But I just followed the plan to the letter. I wrote everything down (now I prefer the App to track all my meals) and I noticed that I never felt hungry. If you eat what is required at every meal then you never really “want” more food. Now there will be times when you want your favorite meal or snack but you just have to want to lose the weight more. Eventually, you will be able to incorporate them back into your diet. If you have any questions or need some encouragement just give me a shout!
