I See Me personalized books came to me right before I gave birth to our second daughter. I was looking for something special to give to Mini-Me from her little Sister, to make the day extra special for her!
We decided on giving Mini-Me The Super Incredible Big Sister book the morning following Sissy’s first night home. Let me tell you….she was sooo excited and wore the award for two days straight (I literally had to take it off her neck when she was sleeping!). I’ve read the story to Mini-Me a few times now (when she asks me!) and I can see the excitement on her face every time I read the story. The Super Incredible Big Sister book from I See Me! comes personalized with big sister’s name and the name of the new baby (we used a nickname since we were unsure of Sissy’s name!). The book reassures Mini-Me that Mommy and Daddy love and appreciate her. It also rewards her for helping out and being a ‘superstar’ with her new sibling. It comes with a coordinating Super Incredible Big Sister award medal with a place on the back of the medal to write the proud sister’s first name! What child wouldn’t like seeing their own name in a book?!?
Mini-Me has kept the award in “safekeeping” and shows everyone who comes over to meet Sissy. If you are expecting another (grand)child I highly suggest getting an I See Me personalized book. This is a great way to create a connection between siblings and make the oldest feel included. While we’ve had a few moments of jealousy, Mini-Me realizes that she’s the Big Sister and reminded that she needs to be Mommy’s helper.
The illustrations in the book are absolutely beautiful. The colors in the book are bright and eye-catching to me, I can only imagine they are as interesting to children.
I also L.O.V.E. their website. It’s super simple to navigate, bright and welcoming and you get to “preview” each book before you purchase it! How cool is that?!? You can “preview” the Super Incredible Big Sister book here. What’s super spectacular are all of the awards that I See Me have won! They include the 2010 Book of the Year award and Mom’s Choice Award.
