I worked with Fathead back in 2012 and my son picked out a Joey Votto wall mural, which is still on his wall! For this review, I let my oldest son pick out a design and since they didn’t have TitanFall, he went with the next best choice Star Wars. They have plenty of different styles including just the characters which stand almost 6 feet tall, poster-like murals and cut outs like the Death Star.
Fathead is the industry leader in graphics for large & small spaces, with their officially licensed sports & entertainment graphics. Their graphics include NFL and MLB to Disney and TV Shows and the products range from life-size wall graphics to collectible size 5” x 7” Fathead Tradables.
The room before the mural:
My teen went with the REAL.BIG. Vader Helmet Mural. This is really REAL BIG! It is 6 feet wide and 4’3″ feet tall. It fits perfect on the side of his bed. Even though I applied the Joey Votto a few years ago, I couldn’t remember how sticky it was to apply. I knew that it was going to be a two person job getting it on but it didn’t take that long. The toughest part was making sure that is was level. The sticky back really wasn’t “sticky” so it didn’t stick to your hands, but yet it clung to the wall and was repositionable which was nice. We had to move it around a few times to make sure it was even. Fatheads are printed on durable vinyl, are is fade-resistant and they are reusable.
Room After the mural:
This is my seven-year-old standing next to it to show the size:
My son loves the mural, and I am glad to know that when he tires of it I can reuse it in my little one’s room…because you know boys never outgrow Star Wars!
