“It is our mission to bring families together to interact and learn about the outdoors.” – Education Outdoors
Education Outdoors Inc. was created by Tim in 2005. Before Education Outdoors, Tim had founded a non-profit organization called “The League of Extraordinary Outdoorsmen”. That’s when he realized the need to educate children and their families about the outdoors. So he created the first game in their series of games called Camp— The Game That Grows With You.
I received their classic Camp Game along with one of their newest games called Mysterious Creatures. I worked with Education Outdoors about two years ago, reviewing two other board games. My sons really enjoyed playing them so I was happy to receive these games to play.
Camp Game
Learn all about the outdoors with this game. The game is designed to grow with the player, starting at level one questions, which are primarily identification of animals. As the players increase in their knowledge about the outdoors, they grow into higher-level questions. We liked playing this game because everyone got to play at their own skill level. My five-year-old was on level 1, my thirteen on level 3 and I was on the adult level. The game is simple to understand and play.

Mysterious Creatures Game
The game takes each player on an adventure/race across the globe in search of their creature’s evidence cards. The first player to collect all 3 evidence cards and make it back to their creature’s country of origin wins! You also learn geography, country flags, and a multitude of info about creatures that may or may not exist… it’s up to you to decide.
