I would have my children picked their own toothpaste and the flavor. Also, I would share information and pictures with them that I gathered from the Dentist’s office.

My son and daughter-in-law really do not have a problem with my grandson brushing his teeth. He knows that it is done for a good reason and that’s good enough for him I guess.

We had to make it a routine. We take a bath, brush teeth, and then read story. Having him follow a routine helps him.

We have made brushing an important part of each morning and evening. Starting this good habit from the start ensures they will keep up the task forever.

My grandson just got a battery operated toothbrush. He seems to like to brush his teeth more now! Hope he continues to!!

Getting my kids to brush their teeth isn’t always easy or a happy experience. But I currently have been having them set their timers on their ipads for 2 min. It seems to help them stay brushing as they watch the timer.

I don’t have any tips for helping kids, as I don’t have kids yet. My nephew is working on his tooth brushing skills currently though, it’s important to start the habit early in life.

We always let them help pick out their toothbrushes & toothpaste. When they were real young & started brushing, I would brush my teeth at the same time & that helped to motivate them. We also make sure to take them to the dentist for regular check-ups & just remind them how important it is because they need to last a lifetime!

I think tooth brushing should be a ritual, that way they know it’s a part of their day. Also make sure to have toothpaste the kids like.
