Cincinnati Get FREE Tickets to The Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival on 12.12.15

The Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival is probably the oldest continuing festival of the Christmas season. It was first presented in England at Queen’s College, Oxford in 1340 and a similar ceremony was at St. John’s College, Cambridge in 1607.Boar's Head Festival

FREE tickets will be distributed on Saturday, December 12th at Christ Church Cathedral located on 4th Street & Sycamore, downtown Cincinnati. Tickets will be distributed from 8:30AM to 10AM on a “first come, first served” basis. Adults 18 years or older may obtain, in person, two (2) tickets per request. No show tickets are distributed 15 minutes before the show on the day of performance, as well.

  • • Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
  • • Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
  • • Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

Admission is FREE and donations are accepted following each service. Although tickets are distributed in advance, limited seating is available at each performance. Seats are only reserved until 15 minutes before the service; at that time, those without tickets will be seated.

    I’ve never heard of this festival but it sounds fun. We live a couple hours away but it’s something to consider for next year!
