Fix A Flat Tire Review

There’s nothing worse than coming out to your car in the morning and seeing a flat tire. This incident happens more often in the colder winter months because the molecules in the air are small, hense the low tire if you have a slow leak! So having a bottle of Fix-A-Flat on hand will save your morning {and the rest of your day!}.

The Loehner family is ALWAYS on the go. Whether it’s to activities for the kids, family functions, heading to the track to race the mustang or traveling the country, there’s not a day that goes by the wheels aren’t spinnin’! I am so glad to have gotten a Fix-A-Flat tire kit to keep in our cars along with our race car trailer. You never know when you are going to be in a bind and need a quick fix to fill that flat tire. So I recommend heading to your local automotive retailer and picking up a kit to keep on hand.

Priced at $8 a can or $29.97 at Walmart The Fix-A-Flat Ultimate 1-Step is very affordable! The Ultimate 1 step kit is very similar to the OEM kits that manufacturers are using to replace spare tires and jacks in new vehicles.  Here’s how Fix-A-Flat works – Sealant and air are injected through the same hose to repair and inflate a flat tire in seven minutes.  The Inflator may also be used independently of the sealant to air up low tires. The 1-Step Kit includes an integrated dial gauge to ensure proper inflation and sealant refill is available.

Now keep in mind that Fix-A-Flat is a temporary solution and it’s not recommended to try and use a can of Fix-A-Flat on multiple tires. You’ll want to drive the car to your nearest tire repair center or mechanic shop {or Ulmer’s Auto Care if you are in Cincinnati – shameless plug for Hubby’s work!} so that your tire can be either patched {cheapest option if possible} or replaced with a new one! There is also a chance {especially on newer models} that you will damage the Tire Pressure Monitoring System when using Fix-A-Flat. My husband sees this very often as he is a ASE Master Certified Technician. These often run around $150 so you’ll want to use Fix-A-Flat with caution.
